Matt Vickers MP welcomed new Conservative councillors for Fairfield Jack and Mazi following their massive victory in the recent by-election.
The election saw local Conservatives eclipse the competition, obtaining well over double the votes of opposition Labour candidates.
Jack and Mazi are fantastic local campaigners, working hard to ensure Fairfield receives its fair share of resources and fighting for Fairfield to receive a playpark of its own.
This successful election result helps ensure their plans to bring a playpark to Fairfield stay on track.

People in Fairfield pay a fortune in council tax but our Labour council choose to neglect their local community and instead spend money on their press office and a photographer to take photos of councillors.
Locally Labour have let our communities down, failing to invest in improving public facilities despite raising your council tax by 45% since 2015, making it amongst the highest in the entire country.
Jack and Mazi will continue to fight against this, and make sure that Fairfield get's the investment in deserves.
