Have your say on Labour's Council Tax Hike

Red text over a background of Stockton's Town hall, calling on readers to have their say on Labour's 4.95% council tax hike

In recent years Labour Councillors have voted to subject you to some of the biggest council tax rises in the entire country. They voted to put it up again, it’s now 45% HIGHER since 2015 and is amongst the highest in the entire country. People across the borough are saying this simply isn’t value for money - do you agree?

Stockton is a great place to live, work and raise a family. But we’re not getting the quality services we need. Our roads are crumbling and full of potholes, our street wardens/enforcement officers are few and far between and we need to tackle litter, fly-tipping and dog fouling on our streets. We’ve seen first hand how Labour are running down services and running up bills, spending your money in all the wrong places. Please have your say on this council tax hike and where you think money should be spent.
