It’s almost a year since the Labour council closed off Newham Grange Play Park and there seems to have been no efforts to repair it. Matt Vickers MP and your local Councillors, Hugo Stratton and Emily Tate believe this is entirely unacceptable.
The council has allowed Newham Grange Play Park to fall into disrepair despite being given extra money by the Government to invest in parks and in fact spending a lot of money upgrading play facilities in Ingleby Barwick, Parkfield, Billingham, Norton, Hardwick and other area.
Local people contribute a huge amount in Council tax and we think it’s time the Labour Council pulled its finger out and got our park back in working order.
